Here is a quote from a CJ6 owner/pilot
with the stock Housai engine after installing the automotive
conversion kit: "The CI is finished on my CJ and I got to fly it
yesterday. Before that all we did was test runs on the auto-plug
conversion. I have to say the engine runs smoother, can smoothly idle
below 500 rpm (smooth even at 400) and at WOT, the engine runs over
redline (by about 50 rpm) so it must be putting out a bit more power
than with the Chinese plugs. I have a very slight hint of ignition
noise in the background but nothing that the squelch can't handle. I
am very pleased. My wallet will be pleased each annual too. The
conversion will pay for itself in a few years."
